Sashimi express is our go to place when we have large sushi platters to order for parties. We ordered a few years ago for my husband graduation party and the platters were a hit! Most recently, we ordered another party platter for my aunt as she moved into a new place, once again, it was so good! I believe it was about 8 rolls total and included 16 pieces of sashimi. The service is always great. I was able to call it in about 5 hours before pick up and it was ready when I got there. Also they have a rewards program which most sushi spots don't. Ordering this platter alone gave us a free basic roll for next time.
Finally tried this spot after years of passing by. I love that you can get a variety of options for the bento boxes, including poke and a variety of sushi rolls. All the rolls we have tried have been very fresh and good. I love that the rolls are half the size of normal rolls so you have the ability to order more options. I do wish that you were able to just order poke on its own. Overall I do recommend and have came back multiple times already.
The service was fast and they were super polite. The miso soup was rich in flavor and had tofu which was yummy. The tempura was crunchy and the chicken with rice was flavorful. It's so cute inside as well, perfect for dining.
As a disclaimer this is solely a review based off the food as I tend to order from this establishment very regularly for delivery. It is a regular in my rotation for a reason. I just don't think you can beat their large bento box. The miso you get with it is just so delicious and comforting as is the side salad. My go-to order is the teriyaki salmon , tempura shrimp (light airy batter), and tempura roll. Hands down my favorite!
This place is my favorite sushi spot in all of Fresno. The owners are sweet and the service is fantastic. They have seating inside and do great to go orders as well. I'd tried so much on the menu and think just everything has been so tasty and fresh.
I placed an order online and my food was ready when I arrived. I ordered the large bento box, for $15 it was a lot of food! It came with chicken teriyaki, rice, salad, soup, 4 pieces of sushi, and 2 pieces of inari. The food was fresh and delicious.
So I still love this place for quick sushi and good miso ,but in the last couple years they have gone up in price and not in quality or quantity. So for that unfortunately I'll be going down a star
